Vocabulary Gym

Keep your English sharp

● In closed beta iOS Works offline

Not a course, and not a beginner’s app — Vocabulary Gym is a five-minute daily workout for people whose English is already good and want to keep it that way. Twenty questions on meanings, synonyms, antonyms and the near-identical pairs that catch everyone out, pitched right at the edge of what you can handle.

  • Hands-free, spoken workouts using on-device speech recognition
  • Tracks every word you meet and brings back the ones going rusty, automatically
  • Your English scored out of 100, with an estimated CEFR band from A2 to C2
  • Fully offline and private — no account, no analytics, nothing leaves your phone
